The age of needing our cars

Living in this busy lifestyle where everyday we rush from one place to another to ensure our daily duties are met can be extremely hectic. Imagine carrying out your daily duties without a car- carrying shopping home on public transport, then walking from the bus-stop to your destination with all your bags trying to fight the force of the wind, struggling to pick out your house-keys from your pocket while holding your shopping as the tin of baked-beans fall out from the tear in the bag caused by getting it stuck on a branch while walking past a dead rose-bush! I'm sure you do cherish your car as much as you should. But do you do the same with your life?

Driving around with your foot on the accelerator, weaving in and out of traffic so you can get home on time to finish off your daily duties. If your not one of these drivers, then I’m sure you've been in contact with one. Road accidents have soared during the recession as more people face extremely high stress levels together with the increasing number of potholes across the roads. As a result of this, the number of people filing road accident claims against other drivers as well as against local authorities have risen.

And as the recession continues to stress more people out, and while these people take it out on the roads, the number of accidents is expected to increase further, leaving more innocent people suffering from personal injuries. These injuries can be long lasting and even fatal.
